1. Have fun!<\/strong>\u00a0 Don\u2019t be a poor sport!\u00a0 Remember, this is just kickball.<\/li>\n
2. Helping you get lucky rule.<\/strong>\u00a0 All teams are required three females on the field at all times (with the exception of extra innings).
   \n

   \n

   2.1 \u00a0\u00a0If a team does not have 3 females playing, 1 male must sit out per absent female, until you\u2019re at 6 players.\u00a0 A team can start play with as few as 6 players, but a female must be one of those 6.\u00a0 If any players arrive after the start time they must be added at the end of the kicking line-up.<\/p>\n

   2.3\u00a0\u00a0 If a team has less than 3 females then they will be penalized an out for each girl missing in the kicking line up.\u00a0 These outs must occur in either the 1, 3, or 5 spot or the 2, 4 or 6 spots.\u00a0 This is an own team decision which must be noted on the line-up card provided to the umpire before the first roll.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/li>\n

   No more than 10 players on the field<\/strong>.\u00a0 You must field a catcher at all times.<\/li>\n

   The kicker is allowed to request<\/strong> speed and texture of roll.<\/li>\n

   Kicking<\/strong>.\u00a0 You don\u2019t have to play the field to kick, but you must kick if you play the field.
   \n

   \n

   5.1\u00a0 You must kick in the same order throughout the game.<\/p>\n

   5.2 \u00a0A kicking lineup must be submitted to the umpire before the start\u00a0 of each game.<\/p>\n

   \u00a05.3\u00a0 If the umpire deems your team kicked out of order then the\u00a0kicker is out and any base runners must return to their past\u00a0\u00a0base.<\/p>\n

   5.4\u00a0 All players must be in the kicking lineup throughout the game.<\/p>\n

   5.5\u00a0 Kicking lineup must consist of at least three females.<\/p>\n

   5.6\u00a0 At the top of the line up kickers must rotate male-female or female-male through a minimum of three girls.\u00a0 The remainder of the line up is at the captain\u2019s discretion.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/li>\n

   Ground rule double<\/strong> is honored.<\/li>\n

   Ghost runners<\/strong> are not honored.<\/li>\n

   No leading off the bases<\/strong>.
   \n

   \n

   8.1\u00a0 The base runner leading off will be ruled out.<\/p>\n

   8.2\u00a0 If the ball is kicked while the base runner is leading off then the kicker will have to rekick and any base runners who were not leading off will return to their previous base.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/li>\n

   When kicking<\/strong> you must not kick the ball before it reaches home plate.\u00a0 You are allowed to kick on both sides of the plate as long as you don\u2019t kick in front of the imaginary line extending across and out from the front of the plate.
   \n

   \n

   9.1\u00a0 Kicking the ball before it
   \nreaches home plate will constitute a foul ball.<\/p>\n

   9.2\u00a0 When the umpire calls, \u201cFOUL!\u201d for this infraction a fielder is still allowed to catch the ball for an out if it\u2019s a pop fly.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/li>\n

   Bunting<\/strong>.\u00a0 This is not intent.\u00a0 This is actual distance ball carries.\u00a0 The ball must be able to travel past the designated bunt line between the first and third base lines. \u00a0Any kicked ball determined to be a bunt by the umpire will be ruled as a foul ball.<\/li>\n

   Safety Base<\/strong>.\u00a0 If the field has a safety base at first then the rule will be enforced.\u00a0 When the offensive player is running to first base after kicking and there\u2019s a close play they must step on the outside\/right side base.\u00a0 If there\u2019s no play being made at first the runner is allowed to step on the inside\/left side base while rounding first.\u00a0 The extra base is placed there as a safety precaution and failure to adhere to the rule will result in an out.<\/li>\n

   For the Defense.<\/strong>\u00a0 Unless the throw moves the fielder from the base the fielder must use the base on the inside\/left side, or the runner will be called safe.<\/li>\n

   Sliding.\u00a0 <\/strong>Feet first slides for males is illegal, and the runner will be called out.\u00a0 Feet first slides for females is legal.\u00a0 Head first slides for men and women are legal.<\/li>\n

   Physical\/Vocal Interference.<\/strong>\u00a0 Any act that a player makes to interfere with the opposing team making a play can result in an out, or getting an extra base.\u00a0 Examples of this are: yelling at the fielder, swatting at the ball while a fielder is holding it, standing in a base line while a player is running the bases<\/li>\n

   Throwing ball<\/strong> at the runner is permitted.
   \n

   \n

   15.1\u00a0 Hitting a base runner above the shoulders with the ball is not illegal, but if the umpire feels like it was done intentionally or with malice you will be subject to a warning or ejection.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/li>\n

   Overthrowing a base runner<\/strong>.\u00a0 If a fielder throws a ball that goes out of bounds the play is still live, with the exception of the ball going over a fence, in an enclosed area such as a dugout, or an opposing player intentionally touching the ball.\u00a0 If any of the above occur then the play becomes dead, and the base runner(s) will be advanced one base beyond the one to which they were running.<\/li>\n

   3 outs<\/strong> per inning.<\/li>\n

   3 fouls<\/strong> is an out.<\/li>\n

   The fielder must get the kicker\/runner out at the base or touch them with the ball.\u00a0 There is no mound out<\/strong>.<\/li>\n

   Fielding position.<\/strong>\u00a0 When a girl is kicking, no fielder is allowed to stand closer than the 40\u2019 bunt line until the ball is kicked.<\/li>\n

   Tagging up<\/strong>.\u00a0 The base runner is allowed to run after a kicked fair or foul ball has been initially touched by a fielder.\u00a0 On a caught ball the fielder may throw to the base the runner occupied if the runner left before the ball was initially touched by a fielder, for an out.
   \n

   \n

   21.1\u00a0 On a caught ball if a base runner has advanced past their next
   \nbase then when returning to their original base they must
   \nretouch the base they just advanced past in order to not be
   \nforced out.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/li>\n

   7 innings<\/strong> per game.<\/li>\n

   10 run rule limit<\/strong> per inning.<\/li>\n

   12 run<\/strong> limit at the end of 4TH inning to win the game.<\/li>\n

   The \u201cKirk Clause\u201d<\/strong>.\u00a0 If the game is tied at the end of regulation 2 players will be removed from defense every inning thereafter but will not drop below 6 people (this is an own team decision, and girls and guys may be removed first).
   \n

   \n

   25.1\u00a0 Even if a team is playing with less than 10 fielders they are still
   \nrequired to drop two players per inning until the minimum of 6 players is reached.<\/p>\n

   25.2\u00a0 This does not affect the kicking line up.\u00a0 Everyone still kicks and in the same order as they\u2019ve done the entire game.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/li>\n

   Infield Fly <\/strong>rule is in effect.\u00a0 The kicker is out when there is a fair fly ball which can be caught by an infielder with ordinary effort, when first and second, or first, second and third bases are occupied, with less than two outs.<\/li>\n

   Injuries.\u00a0 <\/strong>An injured guy may be replaced by a guy or girl teammate.\u00a0 An injured girl may be replaced by a girl teammate.\u00a0 If there\u2019s not a replacement player then the field may be taken with 9 players.
   \n

   \n

   27.1\u00a0 If an injured player has kicked at least once in the game then their spot will count as an out if they do not kick.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/li>\n

   Ump\u2019s decision is final.<\/strong><\/li>\n

   Ejections<\/strong>.\u00a0 If you act like an idiot you will eject yourself via the umpire.\u00a0 If you get ejected from a kickball game you might want to seek anger management classes, but you will also be required to sit out your next scheduled game.
   \n

   \n

   29.1 \u00a0If you get ejected from two games in the same league or tournament you will not be allowed to play for the remainder of that league or tournament, and there will \u00a0be no refund on any of your fees.\u00a0 Please use this extra free time for those anger management classes.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/li>\n

   No disputes<\/strong> over the call of the game after the players have left the field.<\/li>\n

   NO RAINOUTS<\/strong>.\u00a0 In the event of hazardous weather the game may be delayed or postponed until another day.\u00a0 4 full innings constitutes a complete game in the event of hazardous weather.\u00a0 This is the umpire\u2019s decision.<\/li>\n

   Forfeits<\/strong>.\u00a0 A team forfeits their game if they are not present with 6 or more players (including 1 female) within 5 minutes after their scheduled start time.
   \n

   \n

   32.1\u00a0 If a team forfeits the game the score will be recorded as 7-0.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/li>\n

   The National Kickball Association reserves the right to update these rules<\/strong> without prior notice.<\/li>\n

   Anything not covered <\/strong>in these rules will be judged at the umpires discretion<\/li>\n
